"First class luxury!"
This is a spectacular hotel. I would equate it to a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton hotel in the US. The rooms are beautiful - each one unique! The bathrooms are huge and the rooms spacious - not always the case in Europe. The hotel is just a quick walk from the historic part of town. Do not miss the statue musuem just outside the city walls. The hotel also serves a WONDERFUL meal! Ask to eat on the roof. The view and atmosphere are wonderful. The food is beautifully presented, and it tastes just as good as it looks. Also, I cannot say enough about about the friendly staff!

"Lovely INNSBRUCK and lovely hotel SCHWARZER ADLER to top it all up"
I needed a relaxing break for just 4 nights so looked into the internet for a lovely cosy friendly hotel and from all the hotels in Innsbruck I liked ROMANTIK HOTEL SCHWARZER ADLER the best of them all! The welcome music of their website says it all that I will relax. Unfortunately the music is not there anymore on their website! I booked the hotel as hotel had VERSACE & SWAROVSKI interiors such as the bedrooms and bathrooms and spa and also reception. It was worth all the hassle to travel from Malta to Frankfurt then 2 hours waiting at Frankfurt airport to catch the flight to Innsbruck as I enjoyed my stay from the first second I stepped in the hotel till the last second I stepped out of the hotel! Staff always helpfull and cheerfull and I learned more words in German such as pencil and rubber! The hotel receptionist gave me a brochure of the Swarovski shop and when I showed it to the shop of Swarovski the salesgirl gave me a lovely Swarovski crystal stud. I had a massage and used the jacuzzi which was so relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic. I had booked at first time a standard room which was very very nice just identical to their website photo as if I got into the computer and was there in the room! haha! In the room on my arrival there was their brochure with all the different bedrooms they got to offer and I liked a bedroom in the Superior range and asked receptionist if I can see it for next time and she offered me that if I like I can move to it in the next days and so I did which was so so fantastic. I travelled to many many places all around the world and never ever found so helpful cheerfull staff even though at 4 star and 5 star hotels that I stayed at. Will recommend the hotel to whoever I know and to those reading this review and I will certainly go again and again to climb the cable car and go up the mountain and wonder around Innsbruck as I did!
